I'm Sam Dulmage: a photographer, actor, and writer. I work at T.J. Adel & Son Photographics with my father, T.J. Adel; we primarily shoot jewellery and architecture, and I handle all of our digital imaging. I'm active in the indie film community as an actor, writer and cameraman. How do you reach me?
Best is via email at sam-at-samdulmage-dot-com. It's best to meet and discuss the shoot beforehand: how do people that know your work describe you? How are you trying to sell yourself these days? The best headshots are straightforward and honest, but nuanced. A quick meeting can help both of us make sure you get the results you want.
How much is this going to cost?
While I am building up my headshot portfolio I am offering an introductory discount of 30% off my regular rate of $225: that's $157.50, plus tax. Cash only, $40 at the shoot, balance on delivery of results. If you need a website, I'm also partnering with Jasper Anson at Nova Current: if you have your website designed by Jasper and get your headshots from me, we'll both give you 10% off.
What do you get?
I'll shoot a roll of 36 shots and give you (a) the negs and (b) your choice of 5MB scans or 4X6 prints. Extra rolls are $40 each.
What if you're not happy?
My job is shoot a roll with several good shots for you to select a good headshot from. If the roll is unusable for technical reasons, I'll reshoot it at no charge. If there are no technical problems but you're not happy with the results, I'll reshoot if you buy me a drink and pay for film costs.
